The BC Coroners Service says a second teenager has died after a rollover crash near Williams Lake last weekend.

Coroners spokesperson Andy Watson says they are now investigating the death of a second female teenager, who succumbed to her injuries.

The crash happened around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday on Highway 20, west of Williams Lake, when a GMC pickup truck carrying five people rolled onto its roof.

A female teenager was killed at the scene, while four other people were taken to hospital at the time with serious to critical injuries.

Police previously believed that alcohol might have been a factor in the crash, but the investigation is still ongoing.
