
The BC Wildfire Service says the Alkaki Road fire, north of Lytton, is now under control.
Initially estimated at 150 hectares in size, the Wildfire Service says after more accurate mapping, the fire is now estimated to be 66 hectares in size.
“Five BC Wildfire personnel are continuing response efforts,” said a post from BCWS. “The fire has been responding well.”
As previously reported, the fire is not threatening any structures in the area.
