Details are limited, but there are reports of a heavy police presence along Highway 5 north of Kamloops this afternoon.
A number of callers to Radio NL on Friday said they saw police vehicles heading towards the area, though police were tightlipped when pressed for details.
RCMP Southeast District spokesperson Cpl. James Grandy told Radio NL he wasn’t sure when information might be available.
