Kamloops RCMP have renewed a call for information as they continue to investigate the disappearance of a Fort St. John man who has been missing for nearly four months.
Police say 27-year-old Jordan Dean Nande was reported missing on April 1, about three weeks after his family members lost contact with him.
RCMP in Fort St John took over the investigation on April 3 as Nande had a court-imposed curfew in the Northern B.C. community.
In an update Thursday, Mounties say Nande – who was last seen by probation officer in Fort St. John in March – did make it to Kamloops, before he lost contact.
“The Kamloops RCMP Detachment has been and continues to be on the lookout for information related to Jordan’s whereabouts, however those efforts may be further complicated by the fact that he is wanted on an arrest warrant and may be avoiding contact with police,” RCMP Corporal Crystal Evelyn, said.
“Jordan’s family last spoke to him about three weeks prior to reporting him as missing, at which time he stated he was in Kamloops. It is quite possible he may have left the area soon after arriving.”
Nande is Indigenous, stands five-foot-10, weighs 154 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
People with information on Nande’s whereabouts are being told to call the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2023-10985
