Three men have been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing in Blind Bay on August 16, and police say two of them are still on the loose.
The charges come after a 30-year-old Shuswap man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after he showed up on the doorstep of a house on Forest Drive asking for help after a stabbing which police believe happened at car wash.
In a statement, police say a Kelowna man, 33-year-old Jordy Kyle Moyan, is in custody after his arrest in Chase. He has been charged with attempted murder, assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, and robbery with a firearm.
The search is now on for a 36-year-old Enderby man, Alexander Vittal Boucher (pictured right), and a 40-year-old Edmonton man, Terrance Alan Jones. Both men are wanted on outstanding warrants.
Boucher has been charged with attempted murder, assault with a weapon, aggravated assault and robbery with a firearm. He is a white man, standing five-foot-seven with brown hair and brown eyes.
Jones meanwhile is facing charges of attempted murder, assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, robbery with a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and use of a firearm while committing an indictable offence. He too is a white man, standing five-foot-ten with brown eyes.
People are being told to not approach either man and to contact 911 if they see them.
