Kamloops RCMP are on the lookout for a grey 2003 Honda Civic which was stolen from the 500-block of Notre Dame Drive on Saturday morning.
Const. Crystal Evelyn says the owner watched a man in a red mask drive his vehicle away around 10 a.m., after he left the vehicle unlocked and running while he ran inside a business near the intersection of Columbia Street and Notre Dame Drive in Sahali.
Evelyn says the vehicle had BC plates KL0 48K and a black bug deflector. It headed north in the parking lot before the owner lost sight of it.
The suspect is described is a man with a darker complexion. At the time, he was wearing a black and red hat, and a black jacket.
Anyone with information is asked to please contact the Kamloops RCMP at and reference file 2022-4563.
Last month, RCMP issued a reminder to people to never leave your keys in your vehicle, after three idling vehicles stolen in a five day span.
