RCMP say the third man wanted on attempted murder charges after a stabbing in Blind Bay last month turned himself in at the Salmon Arm RCMP last Thursday, Sept. 23.
Police say 40-year-old Terrance Alan Jones of Edmonton was one suspects after the Aug. 16 stabbing which left a 30-year-old Shuswap man with non-life threatening injuries.
Another suspect, 36-year-old Enderby man Alexander Boucher was arrested in Coldstream on Sept. 18, while 33-year-old Kelowna man Jordy Moyan was arrested in Chase on Sept. 9.
“The search for both wanted individuals spanned over a month and involved multiple RCMP jurisdictions across the Shuswap and North Okanagan,” said Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey, spokesperson for the RCMP Southeast District. “We greatly appreciate any and all tips submitted by community members who contacted their local RCMP detachment or Crime Stoppers and we acknowledge the assistance from the media across the region.”
Jones is expected to make a court appearance today, Sept. 29.
