Two weeks after he was arrested in downtown Kamloops, a Shuswap man who is wanted for attempted murder is on the loose once again.
In addition to attempted murder, RCMP say 40-year-old Sicamous resident Terrance Allan Jones is wanted for among other things assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, robbery with a firearm as well as possessing a weapon for dangerous purposes.
“An unendorsed warrant was issued after he allegedly breached his release conditions,” RCMP spokesperson Const. Crystal Evelyn said. “Jones is believed to be in the Kamloops area.”
Jones is described a white man, standing about five-foot-ten with brown eyes, and dirty blonde or brown hair. He also has a fully tattooed right arm, which is pictured below.
He was one of three men charged with attempted murder in September after a stabbing in Blind Bay on Aug. 16, 2020. Two other suspects – 33-year-old Jordy Moyan and 36-year-old Alexander Boucher – were both arrested in September.
Jones had previously turned himself in to police in late September. Asked about the circumstances leading to his arrest on Jan. 11, Evelyn told NL News she did not have all of the information but notes some of the details may be under a publication ban in the Salmon Arm law courts.
If you see Terrance Jones in Kamloops or know of his whereabouts, you’re asked to contact Kamloops RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
